Our guide has been put together to assist you in conducting legal research using the LXA database.

Search Options covered in this guide are:

  • Basic Search: this is the default search page
  • Edit in Advanced Search: this is an advanced search form and includes special tools such as Index Terms look up and Terms & Connectors Boolean searching
 

HOW TO ACCESS LXA & LEGAL RESEARCH CATEGORIES

To access LXA > go to the Mansfield Library homepage > click View Databases A-Z > select L > select LexisNexis Academic.

 

To locate the LXA Legal Research Categories covered in this guide > select US Legal (heading on left column) > categories will display
